The inaugural training session on Digital Infrastructure and Economic Development, conducted under ADB Technical Assistance Project TA 10060-PAK, was held today at ADB, PRM. This session brought together government officials from 20 key ministries and departments, offering them a comprehensive understanding of the pivotal role digital infrastructure plays in fostering economic development. Participants were introduced to the salient features of Pakistan's digital infrastructure, including its current capabilities and challenges. The training emphasized the importance of modernizing digital systems to drive economic growth, enhance service delivery, and promote innovation across various sectors. Through this session, attendees gained valuable insights into the integration of digital technologies for sustainable development in Pakistan's economy.
